It is no secret that one will inevitably feel melancholic at some point along life's journey: the passing of one's parent, the break up with a significant other, the loss of money in some way... I tried through this piece to show how void, silent, and hopeless one feels when going through such loss and experiencing emotional pain. Despite all this, we have to remember that we, as humans, are adaptable, and although we might have to go through such pain at some point, it's going to be temporary, and sunny days lie ahead.
