These are annual Vela festivals, where the villagers unite, share love and foods etc., also feel high devotional towards their local temple Gods and also celebrate these occasions with fireworks, also temple elephants, a temporary shed for public etc., and a lot of people from a lot of places come to see, convey their regards and prayers. This is one such festival named Puthiyankam-Katri vella, near Alathur, Palakkad, Kerala, India. Thank you.
