In 2019, I organized a street photo tour with shutterbugs in Izmir. This tour was arranged in Kemeralti which is a historical market, covers with mosques, synagogues, historical buildings and shops.We spent about 3 hours in this area for taking pictures of the ghetto streets of Izmir. Towards the end of our photo tour, we came across a woman walking with her child in one of the narrow streets. The woman was wearing a black Hijab and only her eyes were visible. My friends started to take pictures of this woman and her child. However, the woman felt very uncomfortable and started to walk quickly towards her house. At this moment, I noticed that the woman did not want pose for the cameras. I stood away, just waited. She opened the door of house, allowing her child to enter the house first. I had only intended to take a photo of her hands as she ready to close the door then she entered the house. We never know the things that happen to people behind the doors, that is always a secret.
