The Dying Soul , is my genesis NFTs collection from my long term photography essay which started in 2019, and that captures the consequences of climate change and globalization on the oases ecosystem in Morocco, North Africa. According to official figures, Morocco has lost two-thirds of its 14 million palm trees over the last century. Two-thirds of Morocco’s oasis habitat has vanished — a process accelerated by environmental changes in the recent decades. Through this series, I use a multi-dimensional approach to create a metaphor that takes us back and forth between the reality of the present and the process of degradation that is yet to come.
