Description
During the first lockdown in the March 2020 and limited to exercise close to home I wandered the empty streets of my adopted home in Belfast at night. This mural with the tree bereft of leaves in the foreground and the home opposite casting a menacing shadow seemed to be the perfect metaphor for the feeling of being trapped and the longing normality to return.
