The storm battered coastline of San Francisco’s Marshalls Beach is a place that truly showcases this Bay Area symbol in a magnificent way. The soft tones of blue hour combined with the helation glow of Cinestill 800t became the lead image to represent the Golden Gate & City of Gold project. City of Gold was the original release of “Made in SF”. That project contains digital and film images spanning 5 years of photography. I’ve visited this structure more times than I could even count and will return without hesitation every time the weather shows a hint of promise. The Golden Gate has shaped my development and became the thread that ties together my journey as a landscape photographer.
