This picture is part of my series *of poems and marvels* and is showing the beauty of Ksenia from Kasachstan. Ksenia is not a photo model but her charisma, beauty and who she is inspires me. Together we wanted to create something that would go beyond another *beautiful picture of a beautiful girl* - we wanted something that shows truth, that evokes emotions and makes the viewer „listen“. Pictures that would become a „revelation“. I had the opportunity to use the studio of a famous and very old sculptor in St. Petersburg. I installed my backdrop and lights. It was very inspiring to work there and I felt that the sculptors around us were talking and pushing our creativity. We worked in the studio for 3 days and it resulted in a little series of 8 images. Short after the photo shoot the picture was already exhibited in Trieste/Italy in a prestiges Arts Gallery. The picture was taken on b&w film with a wooden 8x10 inch large format camera and got developed in my own darkroom.
