Temporary | No. 3 of my genesis series “SOUTHERN BLISS” Most of the people who travel to Greenland are drawn there for its distinct Artic landscape of ice floes and icebergs. It’s imaginable that people and especially photographers are drawn to such places. The cold and frozen terrain is just breathtaking. Our trip was going to be different. Icebergs weren’t our priority. We headed out for sapphire blue water, mountains with terrific cliff walls and unknown hikes deeper into a landscape that appears untouched by human hands. Lesser-known landscapes. But as we sailed along the southernmost edge of the island, we occasionally encountered icebergs too. Maybe not the biggest ones out there but definitely the biggest ones I’ve ever seen. This arch was about 30m (98ft) tall, peacefully floating during the end of the day. A beautiful sight, at least for my eyes. 
I got lucky with the timing here because we watched this temporary arch collapsing on the next day while kayaking. Gone forever.
