Emerging from the depths of darkness, there is light to be found. This delicate tornado is barely illuminated by the sun as it hides in the shadows of the storm. The collar cloud seems to act as a protector, shielding the fragile vortex from the wilderness beyond. Captured on a Nikon D800 near Ashby, MN on July 8th, 2020.
