FULL TITLE: "Promise Me You'll Stop Hiding Inside of Your Shadow" I created this artwork mainly to serve as a reminder to myself-- It is all too easy to live a comfortable life and avoid pushing yourself due to fear. However, getting yourself "out there" is not a walk in the park. Life is scary, life can hurt, and it can be terrifying to live your life. The purpose of this artwork not only encourages you to feel fear and do it anyway, but shows a sense of understanding that it's not easy pushing past fear. Ultimately, your fear comes from within, and although it can be scary, it's also beautiful. In order to recognize peace, we need fear. With that said, promise me you will not hide from fear. Instead, embrace the fear, and allow it to help you grow for the better. Please don't let a "what if this happens?" stop you from living your life to it's full potential. Promise me you will stop hiding inside of your shadow.
