Description

I was settled into evening camp life. I had already taken my ski boots off and was sitting in the megalite melting snow for cooking water and for some tea. I had poured the boiling water to rehydrate my dinner and was sipping my tea waiting when I noticed the colour inside the little cooking shelter had changed. I put everything aside and ran out to check the sky and saw it flashing off right over the western edge of Raft Mountain. I popped into my tent to grab the camera and trotted through the snow in my little puffy hut booties trying to find a clear shot of the action.
