Description
Artwork Notes The rainbow gradient is a representation of the different moods and styles that are represented on the Future Phat Album. It is also indicative of the range of influences that went into producing the album. Album Notes Future Phat - a new foray into uncharted territory. Gone are the purely ambient tones of the Gamma album. Replaced by driving rhythms, providing a base for the cosmic sounds FTR has become known for. The album is a get up and go moment to drive up the pace of the material recorded in previous albums. It is less experimental and more beat driven. It also includes a few tracks created within shared creative and collaborative sonic spaces with other featured artists. Sue O'Malley has created two music videos for tracks from the album, including Track 1 - Wooroonoran, a lament written for Bartle Frere Queensland's Highest Mountain. The album is meant to be listened to as a progression in both intensity and rhythm.
