I made this image in 2021, in rural Minnesota. I had recently bought a Nikon D850 because of the multiple exposure mode on the camera. I had driven this road before, and I had an idea to shoot at sunset to get a double exposure with the sun in the middle of the trees. To me, this image really captures the feeling of a midwest summer. As with all of the other images in this collection, the effect is created in camera. This is an in camera double exposure created with the Nikon multiple exposure mode. It’s not a composite or manipulated in photoshop.
