Description

I made this image during my first trip to Ecuador, in 2021, in the Amazon rainforest. This was my first time in a jungle, and the feeling is indescribable. It's full of so much life. So many noises, animals, and insects. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but after a day or two, I got accustomed to the jungle environment. I was staying in this little village on the outskirts of a city called Tena. I made this image late at night, after a walk by the nearby river. The sky was bright from the light of the full moon, and I wanted to capture the ethereal feeling that I was experiencing. As with all of the other images in this collection, the effect is created in camera. This is an in camera double exposure. It is not composited, or manipulated in photoshop.
