This photo was taken on Friday, May 27, 2016. We were released from work early due to the upcoming Memorial Day Holiday weekend. I had been wanting to explore the northern portion of the Sonoma Coast and figured by driving out early I would beat the traffic heading that way for the weekend holiday. My initial goal was to find a waterfall (didn't succeed) and pinpoint locations for future trips. Note: Two years later, I had the opportunity to visit again, and this time photograph the waterfall.
