Description
On 8-19-2017 my goal for the night was to take photos of the Milky Way and other celestial objects. I was attending a private star party held by an amateur astronomy club I belong to, and as we were setting our equipment for the night up in the mountain, the fog rolled in, preventing any night viewing opportunities. On the way down the mountain, I wondered how low the fog would be, and what potential opportunities I might have. A quick drive later I realized the fog had enveloped the Golden Gate, and I would need to drive to lower ground. A wide-angle lens was used for this long exposure to encapsulate the moment. This is a 1/1 digital NFT version.
