I photographed K, a beautiful and sweet mom at home with her husband and young sons, almost 19 years ago while on assignment for Gourmet. I so enjoyed spending time with and photographing their family, and I captured some of my favorite moments from the trip at their home. While researching the people in this collection (looking back at the detailed caption list I had sent to the magazine), I discovered that Kim had a glass jewelry business selling pendants like the one she is wearing here. I was very sad to find out that K has recently passed away. I connected with one of her sons, who is now a jeweler. The family is not on Web3 yet, but I have told them that I will share 75% of the profits from this image now and for any future sales with K's sons.
