My artistic sojourn has been inspired greatly by the pursuit of beauty made manifest in nature’s many splendorous forms. The ‘Mona Durga’ series delves into an exploration of the multidimensional feminine, extrapolating aspects of the female psyche and visualising them on the digital canvas. The series also aims at creating ‘new & unified’ faces by combining various faces of women carefully layered together at varying opacities. The 33rd instalment of the Mona Durga series was created in January of 2020 - Her creation was inspired after looking at an old photograph of 'Mother Mary' that hung in a relative's home in Bangalore, India.
