Artwork depicting Ross Ulbricht aka Dread Pirate Roberts. Physicist and materials scientist, creator of the well-known darknet market website "Silk Road", early adopter of BTC and unjustly condemned to two life sentences. "I am creating an economic simulation to give people a first-hand experience of what it would be like to live in a world without the systemic use of force." For this portrait I used an old photo of Ross, I hardened the subject's traits and represented them leaner to make him closer to his current condition. Even the look is saddened and generally more introspective to underline his state of imprisonment. The background represents the fence of a prison structure that seems to be impenetrable, the color palette of the background refers to the colors used for the face.
