Shot while diving in the Similan Islands, Thailand. This Parrotfish allowed me to get close enough to grab a great photo. I've found in the past that they can be very shy, and challenging to get close enough for a shot that will show off their true beauty. Additionally, because they are quite iridescent, the colours often don't photograph easily. This one against the backdrop of the coral, with contrasting colours, really pops! As with all of my underwater photography, a portion of the sale will be donated to a charity that helps to rebuild and restore the coral reefs. 2388 × 1791
