I have lived in the Czech Republic for four years. I come from Truskavets, a city near Lviv. I have my mother and a large part of my family in Ukraine. My mom would be willing to come, but only if she could return home. She doesn't want to stay here, Ukraine is very important to her. I work in Prague and every month I send my family, and especially my mother, money so that they can make a living. She is surprisingly calm and not very scared. She says that what comes will come. She has experienced a lot over the years. My mother and I call every day, so far the situation around Lviv is relatively calm, but we never know when that may change. It's a lot of stress for me and we call each other every day. My friend's brother and daughters went to fight in the war. It is our country and we must fight.
