VERMOUTH was created from a soaked roll of film - consumed by a cocktail of vermouth, lemon, and lavender. When left overnight, the film emulsion reacts with the mixture, yielding a trail of marks and patterns unknown until further processed. VERMOUTH explores what TART uncovered - accidents into art. This piece was like peering into a microscope - an intended study of chemical reactions that, like nearly all of my work, cannot be predicted or replicated.
