Every year since 1998 I've tried to render something festive for the holidays. Sometimes it's something totally new, sometimes I adapt an existing scene. 2020 was difficult year for everyone and a momentous one for me personally. People working from home were rediscovering my wallpapers far away from the IT departments that enforced corporate desktops in the office. I finally decided to leave Lightwave behind and learn Blender. I'd created a funky version of my Christmas ornament had already rendered nearly 80 wallpapers and was ready to rest. In the days before Christmas however I was playing with Blender and discovered a way to add snow to any object. I thought it would be fun to add snow my famous Fluorescence mushrooms and use them in a snowglobe scene that I had created in '19. Like all my Fluorescence renders this one was a big hit and I think it nicely puts my trademark on the holiday.
