Every year since 1998 I've tried to render something festive for the holidays. Sometimes it's something totally new, sometimes I adapt an existing scene. By 2003 I was splitting my landscape rendering between Vue d'Esprit (if I needed something raytraced) and World Builder (if I needed vast forests). Here I actually used both Vue AND World Builder. I rendered the sky beforehand in Vue and used it as the background in World Builder. Santa's sleigh is 3D here but due the increasing scale of the scene Santa is a bit smaller than in the 1998 version.
