There are places called "power spots" with mountain spring water all over Japan. Springs in the deep forest without being seen by anyone are sacred, and when light floods through the trees and illuminates the surface of the water, we feel the radiance reflected in the mirror of our hearts. Thinking that the spiritual impression of the real thing should not be destroyed by a realistic expression, I decided to paint a picture almost like an extended abstract painting. The brush strokes, which could be described as impulsive, create a unique matière, giving the painting rhythm and dynamism.
