From the seas to the summits of the high alpine, it's all connected. All rooted in the beauty held in the landscapes of this amazing planet. And just like the seas and the summits, we too are connected to this planet. Humans have an innate drive to experience this firsthand. That is why people sailed across the oceans and explored the most remote peaks. Even though deadly, people accept that risk just to feel this connection to the land. The mountains and oceans force pure humility. Feeling small in a big landscape creates pure and raw feelings because it is known that in these landscapes, death is possible. For me this risk is accepted, just like it is for all adventure driven people. Being spiritually connected to the place you stand is a special feeling. It is what I crave. Staying rooted is what keeps us happy. The moment we stray away from this beautiful planet, is the same moment we lose so much drive in our lives. Stay rooted. -Ryan Warner
