Purification of the soul will open the gates to Nirvana, but only very few are willing to follow all the steps required to detach from the mortal needs. Starting from a young age, children move to monasteries located on the Ghats of the Ganges river to surrender their souls to the Gods and follow the path of spirituality. They do this to learn the about the life lesson that brought them into this present cycle, and through respect, determination, and humbleness reach the path to the next life, and therefore, the next lesson.
