In his work Kramskoy examines the religious plot from a humanistic, moral and philosophical point of view and offers a psychological and a vital interpretation of Christ's thoughts and experiences. What role do I play in this story? First of all, thanks to some manipulations in Photoshop, I moved Christ to our days, giving him the image of a traveler, which symbolizes a backpack, on his feet, he does not have tourist sneakers, but Crocs flip flops, which indicates his poverty. We see that he climbed a hill from which a view of the city opens, in front of him, he observes scattered cigarette butts and an empty bottle from which, apparently, young men's were smoking, who, laughing, run away down the mountain. Behind him we see a date of a young couple, they hid away from everyone to enjoy the joys of love. All this leads the traveler to deep reflections and thoughts about temptation. Work on the painting was started in 1871 by Kramskoy and completed by me in 2020.
