Venice, early in the morning. The sun hasn’t come up yet, but the photographer is already on his way and scouts the city’s streets and squares for possible photo spots. A fresh but warm breeze fills the humid air as he walks onto Saint Mark’s Square. There his gaze is drawn to a doorway, faintly lit by an enticing warm and golden light. He knows, this is the shot he was looking for. My collection “Create” is all about creating, about going outside to produce art, and about following an artist’s purpose. “Solitary” is one of the exceptional highlights that materialize during my work, a milestone of my photographic journey. The doorway sets the frame for the favorably lit alley leading to stalls around the square. A man walks through it, just at the right time to add some movement. The viewer can feel the morning breeze but is drawn into the doorway at the same time where the spectator’s eyes come to rest.
