Description
This image of Iceland is what inspired me to become a photographer, so it holds a special meaning. My background is in painting and in glass, and somehow this seemed to bridge the two. Iceland is a place where you always feel perpetually lost, but so fascinated with the surreal terrain that you don't mind. The extreme landscape shaped by an unusual quality of light inspired this series of images that document my journey. I have young kids at home now, so travelling to Iceland is not in my schedule, but when they are old enough, I will get out there again, this time dragging them along with me, getting lost in beautiful and exotic lands.
