This is one of my most prized street photographs. I offer it up here to you for eternity. I was wandering the back streets of Yangon around 5 am when I came across this young Monk. The Monk was conducting his morning routine of collecting charitable food for his temple. It's the first time I saw a Monk out so early doing this. My Cambodian buddhist wife tells me that in Cambodia the Monks do not perform this task so early in the morning. Maybe this was what I call a “Scam Monk", which is a regular citizen dressed up as a Monk so as to extract money from tourists. But if you look into the young boys eyes I think you will agree that he has a look of honesty about him.
