Tokyo Station's location could not be more "inside the circle," with Marunouchi to the west, Yaesu to the east, and Ginza just a stone's throw away. It is Japan's busiest train station, with over half a million passengers boarding and disembarking from the more than 4,000 trains that arrive and depart each day. Shinkansen, commuter lines, Metro, the well-known Yamanote Line, and a significant intercity bus terminal are linked. Even on the busiest days, you will find the station staff to be incredibly courteous and helpful. They will be there wherever they are required. If you're unsure what to do next, once you've inserted your ticket into the turnstile, a well-dressed staff member wearing white gloves will assist you.
