In 2013, I had the distinct privilege of marching in the Pride parade and documenting its majesty from the inside out. It has become a proud cornerstone of my work, a record of queer power and beauty that informs my art as much as it informs my own humanity. I chose this particular image as my Genesis piece because I think it's a powerful image of self-expression which not only carries the rainbow flag colors, but also the colors of the Ukrainian flag. I will donate 50% of the proceeds from this image to allout.org who partners with Insight Ukraine, Kyiv Pride, and Lambda Warszawa to provide safety, shelter, and support to Ukrainian LGBT+ people. The other 50% will be used to mint the other pieces in this collection, which will also support LGBT+ causes.
