A hand drawn digital painting dedicated to my own feelings of dumbing horror, helplessness and despair in the face of the war. The fear enwraps us just like the fabric enwraps the ghost and trails behind like a spiderweb not giving a chance to get out of this horror. The ghost tries so scream but we can’t hear any sound because of the fabric. This is what happens in our nightmares when some viscous power doesn’t let us scream or move. The ghost holds a Constitution and a cross that are stained with the blood as symbols of lawful freedom and immutable humane principles not making any sense anymore. The jewels consist of the weapons and skulls that should be only decorations but they are stained with the blood as well. The caption on the gun expresses my attitude since we don’t have a freedom of speech anymore.
