Since I arrived in Frankfurt in winter, the weather was not the most suitable for flying my drone, so I had to wait for weeks before a good day would give me the opportunity I needed. When the rain finally stopped and the wind stopped blowing, I arrived at the place after a 45-mins train ride… oh surprise! The place was partially demolished. It was no longer the place that I expected to find and that I had seen on the maps. Disappointed and cold I decided to fly my drone and take the photos anyway. I knew that the result would not be the same since my expectations were different, but I had already made the trip, and I was not going to leave empty-handed. In the end, the result was better than expected because I was able to capture a unique piece of architecture of a building that has ceased to exist and thanks to my photography it will be recorded in the blockchain forever as part of history.
