Description

I took these photos in 1987. They are digitally processed, sometimes inspired by Glitch art, saved on an analogue medium. Basically, they are colour digital images created before digital media existed for saving them. The images were captured with a Sony video camera on three-quarter-inch magnetic tape, standard U-Matic or BVU-SP, passed through a mixer and freeze-framed, before being developed (including with the “precipitate” effect, obtained with “wrong” interpolations of the BNC cables) and photographed with a reflex camera loaded with slide film, placed before a monitor. The slides were scanned in December 2021, choosing to include the entire film and without correcting for time damage, to respect the original processing.
