Jagged shards of chaotic rock candy. 

Shattered into fluid blades of the complexity of color. 

A massive scope of texture and shape constructed and manipulated through the lens of hyper-focused Synesthesia and non-schizophrenic Apophenia. 
 
 This piece began as a landscape view off the westward side of Mt. Tamalpais. An inspiration place and a big part of my childhood explorations. 

I can no longer look at this piece without some form discomfort. It was enjoyable in the beginning, and the constant refocus and navigation between sensory hemispheres eventually made me nauseous. 

In effort to share the feelings of this journey I offer the visualization of chewing an entire box of crayons - if they each had the full flavor of each color. Confused and with a headache - I hope this gives its viewers the deep pleasure that is sometimes produced by my minds psychotropic labor.
