Future Cities #8: New Market #1, Dhaka This photograph is from my Future Cities project about informal urban development in the world's cities. These photographs were made between 2010 and 2015. At first, I was mostly focused on photographing homes and communities where people live. But it’s hard to separate informal residential communities from the informal economy. This photograph is of a busy market area in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The buildings in the area house factories, shops and other businesses. And the streets are filled with market stalls selling almost anything you could imagine. 4261x3598 pixels
