Description
As the outgoing tide ebbs and flows, small rivulets form tendrils in the sand, providing a sense that the sea is stretching beyond itself to reach you. This image comes from one of my favourite beaches on the Isle of Harris, Horgabost. Ignored by many for the more popular Luskentyre and Seilebost, this relatively small beach comes alive with an outgoing tide, metaphorically speaking, as these tendrils stretch all along it's length. A magnificent place to capture seascapes. This image was Highly Commended in the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year 2017.
