Description
Bealach na Bà (Pass of the Cattle) is an old drovers road on the Applecross Peninsula and this image is close to the top. One can imagine the conditions in the days of old if those driving their livestock were caught out by the weather up here. It's an inhospitable place, exposed to the winds coming in off the Atlantic but with great views across the Highlands and the Isle of Skye to the south. A truly stunning place to while away a few hours, drinking in the views and exploring the landscape for compositions.
