There's a part of me that remains hidden. He cries out to be heard, to be seen... but I don't let him out. I fear the sunlight may be too harsh for his fragile skin. I'm afraid the world's turbulent waters will swallow him whole. So inside he remains, groaning and moaning, but I know better than to let him out of his cage. Someday, when we are the only souls left on this aching planet, I'll let him see all the beautiful wonders of the world.
