This picture was taken at dusk on a very cold and clear winter day. I got in the car and stopped at a large ranch a short distance from town. This place is a quiet pasture with many cows grazing in the summer, but in the winter it is just a vast field of snow. As I waited with my camera, listening only to the sound of the wind, the sun was slowly sinking into the horizon. I felt as if I had wandered into another world as I watched the scenery.
