Usually the magic of trolls is bound to the very essence of nature and is directed towards perfection of both visible and invisible worlds. But amongst the trolls that practice magic there is one rare exception – a Sorcerer troll, who chose the path that lies through darkness. Engrossed in desire to learn different kinds of dark arts, he has discovered mystic forces that come from the eerie unknown dimentions. In our human world he is often called The One Who Waits at Crossroads. Anyone who’s lost all hope will inevitably meet at a crossroad a dark figure wrapped in a ragged cloak with a hood. When troll appears in front of someone, he tries to hide his face and disguises himself as a short old man. Those who encounter him will be offered a deal. The troll always keeps to the terms of the deal even if it’s not in his interest. But it’s not due to his conscientiousness - the price for such a deal is often high and terrible. This is why he only appears to the most despairing.
