Waves of Aurora Sandy Beach is on the South Shore of O’ahu, home to some of the biggest swells. The stomping grounds for big shore break, photography, lots of locals and sweet tunes, it's never a dull day down on the sand. I have swam out there to shoot before and the energy and pull of the ocean is like no other. There have been multiple occasions where I thought I was going to be swept out to sea. I have see it happen multiple times to people. When the shore break is pumping, Sandy’s becomes extremely dangerous for beachgoers close to the waterline. But when it is pumping, it attracts a certain crowd, and they go in happily, ready for the rush.
