Keiki of Kekaha If you’ve ever been to Kauai, chances are you’ve heard of the Na Pali Coast. I didn’t realize how checked out of myself I was until I was on the boat.. a zodiac boat going a million miles and I could barely hold on. This was the most visual and physical sign of being freed from myself that I’ll never forget. I could breathe again. The rush. A new beginning. We stopped at the end of Kekaha Beach, right before the goodness of Na Pali starts. This momma spinner dolphin and her baby “Keiki” glided on over under the crystal clear blanket of water, where I was sitting at the front of the boat.. and they stayed with me until I was ready. It was my breakthrough moment. I started taking ownership over myself. I witnessed the most breathtaking views imaginable. I was in complete awe, nothing else mattered at the time and even after. Little did i know, it was preparing me for what was to come. A moment of freedom I’ve held onto. Freedom from Kekaha. Kekaha Beach, Kauai.
