Description

I made a series of fabric teardrops of all sizes, for some unknown reason. I had no plan for them but that’s why I usually make things - the material forms and the use for it reveals itself later. I’m sure I scandalized many beach-going families during this shoot, running around in bikini bottoms and little else. No one said anything to me, but a few stood around and watched, a little confused. The people watching me slipping and moving clumsily over the wet rocks gave me some sense of comfort. My tripod was crashed down by waves a few times, and I fell more than once. But the moon was perfect and the sky was pink and I felt something, blind to anything else.
